Ellis Dijkstra

A few years after obtaining my HBO lifescience diploma, I pursued a master's degree in Biology at Wageningen University. During this period, I directed my focus toward 'labor and health,' specifically in occupational hygiene. I strongly believed in the proverb 'measurement is knowledge,' approaching matters with a rational, thoughtful perspective. Despite some detours, including a period of three years abroad, I eventually landed what I had long considered my dream job. The journey, however, unfolded differently than expected, ultimately leading to a burnout. In the process of seeking recovery, I encountered Rebalancing® and discovered that 'feeling is knowing more' and 'it is not always what you think it is.'

During the Rebalancing® training, I started my practice. A severe hernia threw a wrench in the works, forcing me to put my practice on hold. My experience with Rebalancing has taught me to cope with a lot of pain and mobility limitations. Living with the pain, not in conflict against it.

Over time, I found my way to practice this beautiful profession again. My own learning process and experiences have become part of the tools with which I guide my clients.

In addition, I have expanded my skills with training in systemic work in the body (Calling of the Soul) and working with developmental trauma.

I am happy to guide you – sometimes with playfulness and humor, sometimes confrontational, sometimes searching, sometimes in silence.

You are welcome.
